Full Focus on Falkirk

20 February 2026

Alexandros Kyziridis admits last weekend’s defeat at Ibrox took a little while to get over, but now the winger is fully focused on the visit of Falkirk.

The Jambos remain top of the league and welcome the Bairns to Gorgie this Saturday for Big Hearts Day at Tynecastle, with the focus very much on getting back to winning ways.

Speaking to the media, Kyziridis said:

“To be honest, one day after the match, I was still feeling sad, because, of course, you want to win every game, but it happens, you lose a game. Now I'm good and I'm focused on Saturday.

“You need to learn from the defeats. I'm pretty confident that every time we had a defeat, we have reacted pretty well, and that's why I'm confident and I believe that everything will be fine.

“You're going to have pressure. It's normal, we play football. But it's really important to handle the pressure, and I think we are, in a good way, and we know what we have to do.

“I don't think that every game is easy. Every game is difficult, and every game you need to prepare 100 per cent for what's next. You just need to be focused, to be yourself, and to give everything on the pitch. Our main focus is to continue to win as many games as we can.”
