Wouter Vrancken and Tomas Magnusson sat down with the media to preview tonight’s Premier Sports Cup tie at Stenhousemuir.
The Jambos travel to Ochilview for the quarter-final clash with a place in the final four and a trip to Hampden at stake.
Head Coach Wouter knows his side are in for a tough challenge against the Championship leaders, while midfielder Tomas has revealed his eagerness to give the supporters a cup run to celebrate.
Wouter said; “An away game and a cup game is always a difficult thing. It will be not an easy game, and we have to be ready to cope with this and to handle the circumstances and be able to play our game in this.
“It's football, it's 90 minutes, it's a cup game. You cannot underestimate the opponent. They're also there for a reason.
“We have to be ready as well as mentally, as technically, as tactically.
“It's not about astro, it's not about stadium, it's not about all those things. Excuses are for losers, let's say. You have to prepare.
“You have to prepare yourself and you have to be ready.”
Tomas said; “Definitely, (last season’s cup results) that was a disappointment, 100%.
“We have to make up for that now. For ourselves and the fans as well. Making a decent run at both cups would be ideal, of course.
“That's something we want to do, go to Hampden. There's a lot up for grabs.
“It would be amazing to get through and play there. I haven't played there myself.”
