Tynecastle Park is one of the oldest and most revered stadiums in Scottish football. Famed for its atmosphere, there is no finer sight than watching the Jambos run out to a sea of maroon in Gorgie.

 

How to buy tickets

Match tickets can be purchased online at Hearts eTickets or in person at the Hearts Ticket Office, situated in the Clubstore inside the Main Stand, just off the Foundation Plaza. The Ticket Office is open 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday.

Half-time stadium messages

Would you like your message displayed on the big screens at Tynecastle Park? Head to the 'Contact Us' page and complete the form, please read the information below before submitting.

Due to the high volume of requests received, we are unable to reply to each person individually, please include your announcement in full in your email. 

Please submit your half-time message requests no later than 4 days prior to the fixture. If you'd like to include an image in your announcement, please mention this in your email and we will respond to you. 

You can also get your message on screen by tweeting @JamTarts your message and photo on the morning of the match - make sure to include the #JamTarts hashtag. Your message will then be included in our Social Media loop which runs on the screens before the match and at half-time.

Matchday Overview

  • Clubstore & Ticket Office: Both are located to the left of the Main Stand Reception on The Foundation Plaza.
  • Eighteen 74 Fans' Bar: Located between the Clubstore and the Gorgie Suite: The ideal place to enjoy a refreshment and soak up the pre and post-match atmosphere! Open on matchdays to Hearts Season Ticket Holders and those with a valid home-end match ticket (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult).
  • Turnstiles: Open 1 hour before kick-off. 
  • Refreshments: Fans can purchase food and drink from a variety of kiosks on the concourses throughout the stadium, please note kiosks only accept card payments. 
  • Programme: The official match programme will be on sale outside the ground and in the clubstore.


Getting to Tynecastle

General Directions - Tynecastle Park is located close to the West End of Edinburgh and can be located from there by taking the Dalry Road fork at Haymarket and continuing until Dalry Road joins Gorgie Road.

From the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720), take the A71 Edinburgh West slip road and follow signs for City Centre.

 

Away Supporters (Roseburn Stand) - Away supporters are allocated all or part of the Roseburn Stand which is located at the north end of the stadium. Access is by the McLeod Street turnstiles 23 - 32. Coach parking is in Russell Road, which is accessed from McLeod Street as shown on the plan linked above.

Please note: Russell Road is unsuitable for double decker coaches.

 

Coach travel from the North - Join the A8 Corstorphine Road and travel along it until you reach the Haymarket junction. Take the right-hand lane in the one-way system (West Maitland Street, Torphichen Place and Morrison Street) before bearing left along Dalry Road until you join Gorgie Road. Travel along Gorgie Road until you pass under the railway bridge. McLeod Street is immediately on your right with the Tynecastle Arms on the corner. Proceed along McLeod Street until you join Russell Road. Coaches are parked here or on the overflow areas in Roseburn Street.

Please note: Russell Road is unsuitable for double decker coaches.

 

Coach travel from the West - At the Hermiston Gate roundabout at the end of the M8 Edinburgh Link take the Edinburgh West (A71) slip road. Travel straight along the Calder Road (A71) through three roundabouts and keep on this road until it merges with Gorgie Road. Pass under the railway bridge and the fourth road on the left is McLeod Street. Proceed along McLeod Street until you join Russell Road. Coaches are parked here or on the overflow areas in Roseburn Street.

Train -  If travelling from the West and North, disembark at Haymarket Station (the last stop before Waverley Station) and proceed along Dalry Road and Gorgie Road.

If travelling from the South, continue your journey through Waverley Station to Haymarket Station.

 

Bus - Buses from Haymarket/Dalry to Tynecastle are Lothian numbers 1, 2, 3, 21, 25, 33 and First numbers 25, 27, 28 & 427.

 

Car - There are no special parking arrangements and traffic wardens strictly control street parking in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.

To the north of the stadium, there is some on-street parking available north of Murrayfield Stadium and Corstorphine Road. To the south of the stadium, there is some on-street parking available south of Gorgie Road and in the Shandon area.
