Gordon wins Scotland recall

3rd November 2020

Craig Gordon has been rewarded for his fine Hearts form by being called up to the Scotland squad.

The Jambos’ No.1 has been sensational between the sticks since returning to Tynecastle in the summer and it’s not gone unnoticed, with national team boss Steve Clarke today naming the keeper in his squad.

The 37-year-old, who has 54 Scotland caps to his name, will join up with Clarke’s squad for their upcoming triple-header.

Scotland face Serbia in Belgrade on November 12th in the European Championship play-off before two away games in the Nations League; Slovakia on November 15th and Israel three days later.
