Foundation Day

25th January 2019

Today's Ladbrokes Premiership home fixture against St Johnstone will see the club celebrate the fantastic ongoing work of the Foundation of Hearts.

The second annual Foundation Day pays tribute to all the Hearts supporters who have to date contributed in excess of £8 million to the club.

Six thousand maroon and white flags will form a dramatic backdrop in the Wheatfield Stand as the players emerge from the tunnel prior to kick-off this afternoon. Supporters are encouraged to be in their seats early to partake in what promises to be a memorable pre-match display.

Lifelong Jambo Neil Grant will take to the pitch 10 minutes before kick-off to perform “There Will Always Be Heart of Midlothian”; his tribute song to the fans who helped save the club. You can listen to it here and find the lyrics within tomorrow’s matchday programme.

As per last year, the FOH will be out in force with Pledge Stations located within the stadium concourses as well as in the Eighteen 74 Fans’ Bar and the Gorgie Suite. If you would like to sign up as a FOH pledgers, or if you are an existing pledger who wishes to increase your monthly donation, then please stop by one of the stations before or after the match.
