Daniel Stendel was full of praise for his players for what he described as a fantastic team performance against Rangers.
The Jambos secured a return to Hampden with a fantastic 1-0 win over the Ibrox side in Gorgie, with Ollie Bozanic's second-half strike proving decisive.
Speaking after the match, Daniel explained why this was the type of performance his side need to put in week in, week out going forward.
"It’s good we have this positive result and performance. We need more positive moments like this and we’ve been working hard over the past few weeks on our defensive structure.
"I’m happy to have kept a clean sheet today against one of the best teams in the league. It wasn’t easy, John Souttar went off injured but Clevid Dikamona came on and did well.
"It was a real team performance today and this is the way to do it. Yes, we were fighting hard but we also had good moments in possession and we had a clear plan for what we wanted to do and we did it.
"I think today we were even more deserving winners than when we beat them in the league.
"I said to the players that they play for a great club. We need to play well and we need to stay in the league. It was good today and I hope we can do it again on Tuesday."
