Craig Gordon came away from Saturday's win over Ayr United with three points, a clean sheet and a significant personal milestone in the bag.
The absence of Steven Nasimith meant the Scotland international shotstopper once again wore the Captain's armband as he became the 75th player in the club's history to reach 200 competitive appearances.
"Three points was the main thing today, it wasn't always the prettiest of games. We spoke at half-time about getting balls into the box quicker and I thought we did that a little bit better in the final 45 minutes and got the result because of it," said Craig.
"To reach 200 games for Hearts is fantastic and hopefully I can get a few more. It's a nice little milestone with 66 clean sheets along the way and hopefully we can add to that this season and carry on from there."
