Youth to Pro 2026

Heart of Midlothian Football Club is delighted to confirm that nine players from the Hearts Academy have penned their first professional contracts.

The talented youngsters will continue their development at Riccarton, with many having already debuted for the Under-19s and boasting a multitude of youth international caps between them.

The Club is delighted to have them signed up and continuing their progression into professional football in maroon.

Meet The Players

Allan Clark - 2010 - Grassroots Club: East Fife Community

• Joined at 8 years old
• An all rounder at Left-Back, real attacking intent and competitive nature. 
• Identical twin brother Cameron also signs (along with the already signed Wilson twins)
• Has 6 youth international caps - 3 at U15s and 3 at U16s
• Already featured in 1^st team friendly vs Raith this season

Cameron Clark - 2010 - Grassroots Club: East Fife Community

• Joined at 8 years old.
• Scored last goal in B19s 9-1 demolition of Motherwell in opening league game.
• Hard-working & creative versatile midfielder. 
• Identical twin brother Allan also signs

Aiden Duncan - 2010 - Grassroots Club: Salvesen CFC

• Been with us since the age of 8
• Balerno Performance School graduate
• Tall goalkeeper with strong reflexes
• Started this season as Under-19s No.1

Robbie Flockhart - 2010 - Grassroots Club: Currie Star FC

• Joined at 12 year olds
• Tall, two footed, ball playing centre back
• Made 8 lowland league appearances last year for the B-Team

Sinan Kaharevic - 2010 - Grassroots Club: Spartans FC Youth

• Joined us at 8 years old.
• Balerno Performance School graduate
• Versatile forward, who can play wide or as a 9
• Very two-footed and skilful ball carrier
• Scored a brace vs Motherwell in 9-1 win

Peter Kellock - 2010 - Grassroots Club: Gairdoch United

• Joined at 8 year olds.
• Balerno Performance School graduate
• Over 6ft tall, rangy athlete capable of playing right back or right wing as well as deputising at striker from time to time
• 9 Scotland Youth international appearances, 6 at U15s and 3 at U16s
• Scored opening goal of season vs Motherwell.
• Featured in 1^st team pre-season friendly vs Raith Rovers

Jayden Mathie - 2009 - Grassroots Club: Blue Brazil

• With us since the age of 8
• Attended Balerno Performance School
• 3 goals already this season in 3 competitive games, and was U17s top goalscorer last season
• Overcame significant back injury in recent years to earn pro contract
• Featured in both B-team game this season and scored the opener in under a minute vs Motherwell on Monday in 19s first league game
• 10 B-team appearances last year 

Carson McGauley - 2010 - Grassroots Club: Motherwell Community Trust

• Centre back signed from Rangers this Summer
• Tall, aggressive defender who has started every game this season for the B19s
• Formed a formidable early partnership with Robbie Flockhart in defence
• Dominant in 4-3 KDM win at Berwick, martially the defence late on

Harry Willox - 2010 - Grassroots Club: Kirkliston and South Queensferry

• With us since the age of 8
• Attended Balerno Performance School
• Left-footed Central midfielder, technically very good and creative
• Scored in last recent friendly vs Dundee
• Not yet signed his pro deal - but will when he turns 16 at the end of November
