Hearts were defeated 5-1 by Glasgow City at Petershill Park on Sunday.
The hosts were 3-0 up at half-time with goals from Natalie Wrobel, Abi Harrison and Nicole Kozlova. City then scored two after the break as Kozlova made it a brace and Maata scored the fifth.
Jenna Slattery came off the bench to score a late consolation for Hearts in what was a disappointing afternoon in Glasgow.
Eva Olid made one change from last Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Motherwell at Oriam as Georgia Timms replaced Kayla Jardine.
Glasgow City started the match on the front foot and held the majority of the possession, while Hearts looked to hit them on the counter attack.
In the 9th minute, Natalia Wrobel was slipped in behind the Hearts defence and slotted past Rachael Johnstone into the bottom right corner for 1-0.
City nearly got their second after 15 minutes. Maata sent in a low cross from the right and Wrobel's strike crashed off the bar, but Hearts eventually got it cleared.
They found their second of the afternoon in the 21st minute as Abi Harrison's deflected strike in the box looped over Rachael Johnstone into the top right corner.
On 34 minutes, the ball was whipped in from the left and Nicole Kozlova fired home at the back post.

Hearts made four changes at the break as they looked to make major improvements in the second 45.
On 51 minutes, skipper Georgia Hunter made a fantastic goal line clearance to deny Kozlova.
But Kozlova got her second in the 56th minute as the ball was played over the top of the Jambos defence to the winger who drove into the box to score into the bottom right corner.
In the 69th minute, City made it five after Hearts failed to clear their lines from a cross into the box, and Maataa reacted the quickest to score a powerful volley.
The women in maroon scored a late consolation in the 85th minute as Jenna Slattery came off the bench to score into the bottom right corner for 5-1.
