Frankie reflects on 400 milestone

08 March 2026

Frankie Kent has spoken to Hearts TV in a wide-ranging conversation after the defender toasted his 400th career appearance in the Jambos’ 1-0 win over Aberdeen at Tynecastle.

From his earliest days at the Arsenal academy in North London, to the present day at the table topping JTs in Edinburgh, Frankie reflected on his career on both sides of the border in a video exclusively for Hearts TV subscribers.

“It's a very proud moment. I found out after the game that it was 400 and the time's flown by. It’s a cliché thing, but hopefully there's a lot more to come,” said Frankie.

“I just can't thank people enough for the introduction and welcoming me into this club. Obviously, being at the right end of the table, pushing for something that probably a lot of the boys, including myself, it's not a real position that we've been in before, especially being at this sort of level.

“To be achieving what we're achieving, we can only enjoy it and try and work towards being better each day and improving on top of that - just making sure our levels are there and it can only be exciting; I mean, what we've achieved this season already, but we don't want it to stop here, we want it to carry on.

“I think with injuries and ins and outs, the squad's been utilised brilliantly and it's had to.

“I also think we just had a really good squad here before that, sort of like a backbone of the squad and the team to sort of carry that through and tell the boys that have come in that this is what we want to do and this is how we do it. That included the management staff.

“It's been brilliant and just hopefully it can continue.”
