Duo sign first pro deals
03 August 2026The Club is pleased to announce that Academy Graduates Ashley Robertson and Ava Crawford have signed their first professional contracts with the club.
Robertson, a holding midfielder by trade, has been with the club since 2018 and has spent the last two seasons on loan, gaining valuable SWPL experience at Dundee United and Montrose respectively.
The 19-year-old has been capped 20 times by Scotland across the U17s and U19s age group and now puts pen to paper on her first professional deal with the women in maroon until the summer of 2027.
Crawford has been in the Hearts Academy since 2020 and has already made her debut for the first team, coming on as a substitute against Falkirk in the Scottish Cup last season.
Also, a central midfielder, Crawford spent last season on loan at The Spartans, where she was instrumental in guiding Jack Beesley’s side back to the top-flight.
A regular in the Scotland U16s and U17s setup, Ava has already been capped 17 times for her country and is the latest product of the Hearts Girls Academy to sign a professional contract in maroon, agreeing a two-year development contract until 2028.
