Robbie Neilson believes the best way to bounce back from disappointment is to win the next game, which is exactly what his Hearts side is targeting this weekend.
The Jambos face Greenock Morton on Saturday in a competitive game at Cappielow for the first time in 33 years.
Expecting another testing encounter, the manager knows that if his team can be more clinical in the final third then they can continue full steam ahead towards the ultimate target of winning the Championship.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Robbie said: “When you look at this league, everyone can beat everyone. Morton have had some good results this season.
“They’re a difficult team to play against. I expect them to play 5-4-1, be compact, make it difficult, so it’s up to us to go and try and win the game.
“Similar to last week against Alloa, we had a lot of possession, a lot of opportunities and we didn’t get that final moment. We have to make sure we get the final moment on Saturday.
“The surface will be very difficult to play in, the weather could make it very difficult, they will make it very hard for us to play so we have to make sure we’re prepared for that and give ourselves the best chance to win the game.
“You start building momentum by winning games. We won the first eight games and that builds momentum. When you lose a game it’s important that you get back on it.
“For us the objective is to win the league. We’ve lost one game so far in the league this season. If we continue that throughout the season then I’m pretty sure we’ll be where we want to be.”
