Marcus Godinho has won a first call up to the Canada squad.
The 20-year-old has been named in John Herdman’s squad for the upcoming friendly match against New Zealand.
Marcus made his Hearts first-team debut against Motherwell in the William Hill Scottish Cup two weeks ago, and retained his place for last Friday’s derby match away to Hibs.
Capped at U18 and U20 level, this is the Toronto-born full back’s first call up to the national senior squad.
Canada face New Zealand on March 24th in Murcia, Spain.
