Hearts have completed the signing of Czech striker David Vanecek.
The 27-year-old arrives at Tynecastle on an 18-month deal with an option to extend, after his contract at Czech First League side FK Teplice expired.
The towering forward, who stands at 6’4” tall, started his professional career with Viktoria Plzen in 2010, making his debut that year and was capped at U19 level for the Czech Republic national side.
Loan spells at lower league Czech sides followed before he hit 17 goals on loan at FC Hradec Kralove.
David joined that side permanently in 2014 and spent two years there before moving to Teplice, where he bagged 26 goals in two-and-a-half years.
He joined his new teammates for the first time at training this morning and will jet out to Spain tomorrow for the club’s winter training camp.
