Scottish Cup winners Thomas Flogel and Bruno Aguiar will be among the special guests at a Big Hearts fundraiser next month.
The Big Hearts, Big Reunion takes place in the Gorgie Suite on Saturday, November 15, as six decades of memorable maroon moments are celebrated.
Top after-dinner speaker Bill Copeland will entertain on the night, while broadcaster Tom Miller will host the evening which will also feature an auction, raffle and disco.
Kick-off is 8pm and tickets costing £20 are available by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, via Twitter @heartscommunity or on the Big Hearts Facebook page. Sponsorship, business and table packages are available and can be discussed through the same channels.
A host of other former players are expected to join 1998 hero Flogel and 2006 winner Aguiar and these will be confirmed in due course.
All funds raised will help Big Hearts continue its fantastic work in the community and chairman Jim Panton said: “The last 18 months have understandably been challenging for Big Hearts. With the club’s future so uncertain for so long it was impossible for Big Hearts to engage in any meaningful fundraising efforts.
“With the club in the wonderful hands of Ann Budge, our focus must turn towards giving back to the community which has supported us so well in recent turbulent years. In essence, it is time to give something back.
“We are currently working on a major strategic review for Big Hearts, and we expect to provide attendees with an update on what the future looks like for the charity on the night.
“Suffice to say we are excited about the genuine opportunity to again use the power of Hearts and football in general for social good.
“We genuinely hope as many supporters as possible can join us for the night. It promises to be absolutely memorable.”
