Alan's looking forward

The Jambos and the Staggies lock horns at Tynecastle Park in the final match before the league split, with both sides hungry for three points as they look to strengthen their positions at either end of the table.

The winger admits that recent results have been disappointing but backed himself and his teammates to get back on track.

“It’s been tough for us: results haven’t been what we wanted but, at the same time, training’s been good,” he told the media ahead of the game.

“We’ve been doing a lot of things right but we’re just not getting the rub of the green at the moment with results. We need to stick together, and if we do that, we can turn it around.

“It’s definitely not going to be an easy game but with the fans behind us at home, we can hopefully put on a show for them. We know that if we can get a result, and maybe some other results go our way, we can get back to a good position. We know how it can turn, we just need that one win, we’re capable of going on a run again.

“We know what they’re going to bring, we know their strengths. It’s not going to be an easy game but it’s a good one for us to get back on track.”
