Nearly two-thirds of Hearts’ initial Viaplay Cup semi-final ticket allocation has been snapped up by eager supporters and from Saturday, even more Jambos will have the opportunity to secure their seat for Hampden.
The boys in maroon meet Rangers at the national stadium on Sunday, November 5th at 3pm with a place in the competition’s final at stake.
In excess of 10,000 fans have already committed to painting Hampden maroon, and phase two of ticket sales will be implemented this Saturday (14th), which will give more Hearts supporters the chance to back the team in Glasgow.
Phase two of ticket sales will begin at 11am on Saturday. Fans with 10 or more loyalty points will be able to purchase one ticket per account.
Supporters that met the criteria for phase one - 20+ loyalty points – can now also buy one additional ticket. Please note, tickets that have already been purchased cannot be moved to other areas.
The club is aware that some supporters may be holding off on securing seats until other sections of the stadium become available. These sections will only be made available to us by the SPFL if sales dictate that we require them. In short, fans may miss out altogether on tickets if they wait, as those sections will instead be given to the opposition should we not continue to sell out section by section. Therefore, we encourage fans not to hesitate; snap up your seat if you are in a position to do so.
Selling out our allocation gives us greater grounds to negotiate a 50-50 split for tickets in future showpiece events at Hampden. If you meet the criteria for phase one or phase two of ticket sales then help us to PAINT IT MAROON.
