The Skyline Restaurant is celebrating today after winning Best Restaurant at the Forth Awards 2023 in Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on Thursday.
The Skyline Restaurant, located at Tynecastle Park and run by Heart of Midlothian Football Club, opened in 2020 and quickly became a must-visit destination on the Edinburgh culinary scene.
The restaurant was one of three nominated for the top award, sponsored by Heritage Portfolio and presented by Greatest Hits Radio’s Stuart Webster.
Head of Hospitality and Catering Operations from Heart of Midlothian, Graeme Pacitti, said it was fantastic recognition for the venue.
"It's an outstanding achievement for the Skyline Restaurant and well-deserved recognition for the whole team, from our chefs to front of house staff - without them the restaurant wouldn’t be what it is,” he said.
“Their dedication to culinary innovation and delivering exceptional dining experiences truly sets us apart. It's a collective triumph of passion and expertise."
The Skyline Restaurant adds the Forth Award to a growing list of accolades which includes a 2022 TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Award.

Our menus are a celebration of seasonal ingredients and flavours. From starters to desserts, every dish is carefully crafted to showcase excellent local produce across a range of dishes that cater to all tastes and preferences.
The current menus will change to their sumptuous festive menu from the 30th November. Diners will be able to experience the Festive Menu for just £29.50 for two courses, or £34.95 for three courses.
This award only adds to the excitement of what will be a massive few months for the team at the Skyline Restaurant and across Tynecastle Park.
Skyline Restaurant will close for upgrade works for a short period early in the new year in preparation for the opening of the 25-room, Tynecastle Park Hotel.
