Timms named SWPL POTM for November
05 December 2025Georgia Timms has been named the SWPL Player of the Month for November.
The striker scored six goals in the Jambos’ four matches last month, which included strikes against Hibernian and Rangers, as well as a hat-trick against Hamilton.
The signing of Carly Johns, a player Timms knows from her time at Oxford, has added further firepower to the Hearts attack and with the Jambos the top scorers in the SWPL this season, the 25-year-old believes the award is testament to how the team has performed overall this season.
Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, Timms said:
“On a personal level, I’m really proud to receive this award, but it’s testament to how well we’ve done as a team, not just in November, but for the season so far. Every player wants to win games, but you can see with some of the results we’ve had this season that we’re a good team and if we perform to our best, we’re a hard team to beat.
“It’s a great group of girls, I’m really enjoying my football here at Hearts and I’m just really excited to see what we can achieve this season’.
The number nine now has ten league goals this season and head coach Eva Olid couldn’t be happier for her forward.
Manager Eva Olid added:
“I’m so pleased that Georgia has been rewarded for her efforts. This is her fourth season with Hearts, and you can see that she is really enjoying her football at the minute. She is a key player for us, both on and off the pitch and I’m really excited to see what is still to come from her this season.”
