Supporter Information- Cercle Brugge (A)

27 November 2024

Supporters heading to the Jan Breydelstadium for Hearts’ UEFA Conference League fixture against Cercle Brugge should read the following information.

Hearts’ allocation for this match has sold out. Supporters without a ticket should not travel to the stadium.

PRE-MATCH

Prior to the match, Hearts fans are encouraged to gather in the Eiermarkt area. A square near the marketplace with plenty of surrounding pubs.

Free shuttle buses will be made available to Hearts supporters and the club encourages supporters to make use of this service.

These buses will depart from square Vrijdagmarkt (B) this is around 600 metres from Eiermarkt (A) as shown on the map below.

The shuttle buses will begin to depart around 16:30 with the last bus departing for the stadium around 17:45. To ease stadium access, supporters should start the journey early and not wait until the last shuttles depart. After the match, the same buses will bring fans back from the stadium to the city centre.

Arrival at stadium

No bags bigger than A4 will be permitted.

All fans will be subjected to searching, before moving forward to a ticket control point before entry to the stadium.
Refreshments including beer will be available from turnstiles opening which is at 1645.
No photo identification is required at turnstiles. No smoking including use of vapes is permitted at the stadium.
Card payment only at refreshment kiosks.
There are only 4 turnstiles for visiting supporters so supporters are encouraged to arrive at the stadium in good time.

Hearts’ Supporter Liaison Officer and other security staff will be available at the shuttles and outside the stadium to assist our supporters.

Shuttles will be escorted by police and the drive takes about 10 minutes. The meeting point for the shuttles will be marked with LED-boarding.

The stadium is located 6km away from the centre, therefore supporters will not be permitted to walk to the stadium due to safety reasons.

Supporters are advised not to visit the home end of the stadium prior to kick-off. If supporters are found in the pubs surrounding the stadium, they will be asked to leave and head towards the city centre, where the designated meeting point for Hearts fans is situated.

Fans who use their own transportation to come to Bruges are requested to park in the city centre and use the shuttles towards the stadium.  There are plenty of parking lots around the city centre.

Only regular coaches and minibuses will be allowed on the visitors parking at the stadium, as well as private transportation of disabled people. No private cars.

Buses that are coming to Bruges and would like to leave immediately after the game, can first drop their passengers in the city centre (Vrijdagmarkt or Bargeweg) and drive empty to the parking lot at the stadium (Doornstraat).

Fans on these buses then can use the free shuttles to the stadium and after the game go back with their own coach that will be waiting for them at the stadium exit.

Searching is a condition of entry and refusal to co-operate will result in entry being denied.

Supporters deemed to have consumed excess alcohol will be refused entry.

Fans are reminded not to attempt to bring any prohibited items into the stadium, including pyrotechnics which are inherently unstable and dangerous to the user and those in proximity.

Unacceptable conduct will result in ejection from the stadium and any supporter who has been ejected will face sanctions in accordance with our unacceptable conduct policy.

Supporters are reminded to contact our SLO on SLO@homplc.co.uk or follow us on X @heartsfcslo if they have any questions or problems.
