Sade Signs

Hearts Women is delighted to announce the signing of Olufolasade ‘Sade’ Adamolekun on a one-year contract with the option for a further year, subject to work permit approval and international clearance.

 

A Jamaican internationalist, 22-year-old, Sade has already been capped 19 times for her country and picked up a bronze medal she collected at the 2022 CONCACAF Championship.

 

Sade also featured for Jamaica at the 2019 Women’s World Cup, were at the age of the 18, she featured for the Reggie Girlz on the world’s biggest stage. Sade was also quoted as one of the top ten prospects in the world to watch during the tournament.

 

The versatile attacker is comfortable on either flank and will add further competition and quality to the Jambos frontline.

 

Sade joins from the University of Southern California a top-25 rated University in the States, where she made 42 appearances.

 

She brings a wealth of experience for both club and country and was previously named in the PAC-12 All-Freshman Team of the year.

“We were keen to strengthen our team out wide, however we wanted to make sure we found the right player. I know Sade is that player.

 

"Not only has she been playing at a high level in America, she’s an established international player with numerous qualities. I believe she’s going to adapt seamlessly.

 

“For such a young player, Sade already has so much experience and this will only benefit the team, alongside this, her drive and determination to reach the very top will ensure she fits in to what we want to achieve here."
