Ryan eager for new season

17 June 2025

Ryan Fulton is counting down the days until pre-season starts after he committed his future to the club.

The goalkeeper today penned a one-year contract extension, keeping him at Hearts until the summer of 2027.

He pushed fellow shotstoppers Craig Gordon and Zander Clark throughout last season, before getting a taste of first-team action at the end of the campaign, starting the final three games and helping the Jambos to a hat-trick of victories.

Desperate to pick up where he left off, the 29-year-old is eager to get back on to the training pitch ahead of the 2025/26 season and a new era at Tynecastle Park.

Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, he said; “I’m delighted to sign this extension; I’ve loved my time at Hearts. It’s a brilliant group of boys, and I’m fortunate to work with some brilliant goalkeepers.

“Last season was far from what we hoped it would be, so we now have a real chance to learn from that and come back stronger.

“We’re excited to get back for pre-season, work with the new management team, and try and be as successful as we can be.”
