Robbie: Our play was positive

A Josh Ginnelly brace had Hearts in a handsome lead before Jorge Grant added a third to put the icing on the cake.

Speaking to Hearts TV at full-time, Neilson said:

“I’m delighted with the performance and the three points.

“I thought we performed really well today, we had some good passages of play, we were positive and that’s the way we want to be.

“I thought both of Josh's goals were great today. In previous games, we have had that opportunity to shoot, and we have maybe taken a pass instead, but today you take that shot and you get a bit of luck with the deflection to get us started.

“His second goal was a great ball from Alex Cochrane for Barrie McKay, and he picks him out so that was some really great play."

On Jorge's goal, he added: “I’m delighted that we’re in those positions where we are putting crosses in and shooting and putting teams under pressure. I think that is really important and I think we can do it more.

“Sometimes we get ourselves into really great areas and we come back out again and try recirculating the ball, but as you see with Jorge’s goal, you can sometimes get a goal out of nothing."
