Robbie named January Manager of the Month22 June 2023
The manager oversaw an impressive month for the boys in maroon, including two Edinburgh derby wins and a stunning 5-0 rout of Aberdeen.
The Jambos kicked off the New Year with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Hibs at Tynecastle, before back-to-back games with St Mirren brought about a draw and a victory.
After running riot over the Dons at Tynecastle, the Jam Tarts then made it a brace of derby wins, knocking Hibs out of the Scottish Cup with another 3-0 triumph, this time at Easter Road.
Robbie’s lads signed off January with a well-earned point at Livingston, taking the record for the month to unbeaten in six, with four wins and two draws.
Speaking after being presented with the award, the manager, pictured above with his coaching staff of Lee McCulloch, Gordon Forrest and Paul Gallacher, said: “January was a very good month for the club so it’s nice for everyone – the coaching staff, backroom team and the players – to be recognised for that.
“Everybody at Hearts pulls together and the amount of hard work that goes on across the entire football department is incredible so this award is for them.
“The focus now is on making sure that we continue our good form and try and make February an even better month than the last.”
