Robbie: Keep bringing the energy

The boys in maroon picked up an impressive Euro triumph at Tynecastle thanks to strikes from Lawrence Shankland and Andy Halliday - with the manager pleased to secure a win for the supporters at a packed stadium. 

“I’m delighted with the result," he told Hearts TV. "It’s great for the players and it gives them that belief that we can win these games against European opposition. I’m delighted for the fans as well, who came along for a full house tonight.

 “We started the game so well; we were aggressive and pressing and got an early goal. We then started overplaying a touch and that’s where teams like RFS are good and they’ll sit in and try and hit you on the counter.
 
“It’s up to us to maintain the levels throughout the game."

Also in the manager's spotlight was the performance of defender Toby Sibbick and the supporters. 
 
“I’m delighted for him. Toby’s had a tough time of late but he’s came in, kept his head down and worked hard for his opportunity. We know that’s the level he can play to .
 
“The fans were great tonight, as ever. That intense start meant the players and fans together brought it and put RFS under so much pressure. We need to keep bringing the energy."
