Pinatar camp for Hearts Women
30 May 2024Hearts Women will head to Spain in July for a warm weather pre-season training camp.
Eva Olid will take her side to the Pinatar Football Center on the 21st July for five days of intense training as preparations ramp up for the 24/25 SWPL season.
As well as double sessions, both on the pitch and in the gym, the team will play one friendly match while in Murcia, before flying home on Friday, 26th July.
The new Scottish Women’s Premier League season is scheduled to kick-off on Sunday, 11th August.
Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, manager Eva Olid said:
“We are expecting to have a lot of new players arriving over the course of the summer. A trip like this offers a great opportunity for team bonding and togetherness.
“Previous camps we have been on have been affected by bad weather, which hopefully shouldn’t happen this time. The facilities are excellent and although it will be a challenge for the players, it’s a good experience for them to be altogether in a different country.”
