Nair's new contract
28 May 2024Heart of Midlothian Football Club is delighted to announce that Kenzi Nair has signed a new contract until the summer of 2026.
A central defender by trade, Kenzi featured 25 times for Liam Fox’s Hearts B side last season as they achieved a second-place finish in the Lowland League.
The 18-year-old now becomes the latest of the Jambos’ talented crop of academy players to sign new deals at the club.
Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, B Team head coach Liam Fox said:
“Firstly, I’m delighted that Kenzi has signed this new contract to remain at the club. He has enjoyed a very successful season in which he has received a lot of game time with the B Team in the Lowland League.
“Like with all our young players, that exposure to playing at that level is something that will only help Kenzi in his development at Hearts.
“Unfortunately, he had a set back with an injury during the season, but he’s shown a great attitude to work his way back to fitness, moving into what will be a big season for him next year.”
Congratulations, Kenzi!
