24 August 2026Hearts Women secured a dominant 5-0 victory over Motherwell at K Park on Sunday, claiming their first away league win of the season.
Goals from Monica Forsyth, Carly Johns and Carly Girasoli secured all three points on the road for the champions.
Andy Thomson made one change following last week's victory over Aberdeen at the Vanloq Community Stadium, with Forsyth coming into the starting lineup for Jenny Smith.
The Jambos started the game strongly, with a Forsyth goal six minutes into the match giving them an early lead from a whipped cross to the back post by Jardine.
Hearts continued with composed spells of possession, building play from the back to set up attacks. A second goal was scored by Johns in the 14th minute after a deflection set up a one-on-one opportunity for the striker to capitalise.
Forsyth then added a third goal to cap off a strong first-half display, scoring with a curled shot from outside the box that found the top right corner.

The Jam Tarts relentless second-half pressure paid off in the 71st minute, when Carly Girasoli stabbed the ball into the bottom-left corner to make it four.
Johns then rounded off a successful afternoon for Heart of Midlothian with an 82nd-minute volley to kill the game, grabbing her second goal of the match.
Hearts Women face Rangers Women next Sunday at home at the Vanloq Community Stadium at 16:10.
