Hearts B defeated Linlithgow Rose 2-1 at Prestonfield on Saturday afternoon.
A goal in each half from Owen Muirhead secured all three points for the Wee Jambos in the Lowland League.
Angus Beith made four changes from the away defeat against Tranent last time out. Jack Lyon replaced Jamie MacDonald in goal, Euan Glasgow came in for Henry James in defence, Gus Stevenson replaced Aiden Haddow and Tommy North started ahead of Callen Robb in attack.
Hearts came out the traps quickly and went ahead in the third minute. Gus Stevenson sent in the corner from the left to the edge of the area, and Owen Muirhead stepped on to it to slot home into the bottom left corner, giving Cameron Binnie no chance in goal.
The Jam Tarts had a good opportunity to double their advantage on 18 minutes as Stevenson sent in another good delivery from the corner, Tommy North rose highest but his header went wide of the target.
On 25 minutes, The Rose found the equaliser. Joseph Smith played in Lucas Stenhouse into the box who fired past Lyon for 1-1.

Angus Beith brought on Jaedon Donkor at half-time who looked an immediate threat in attack for the Wee Jambos.
On 54 minutes, the winger drove down the right, cut on to his favoured left foot and let fly just inside the area. His effort rattled the crossbar and Owen Muirhead reacted the quickest to follow in to score the rebound from close range for 2-1.
The Rose huffed and puffed after going behind, and had a few good opportunities to snatch a late leveller.
On 86 minutes, the ball was fired across the face of goal and Cameron Rae blazed his strike over the bar from close range.
Two minutes later, the ball was crossed in to James Berry who went for the volley on his right foot, but couldn’t keep it down.
Jack Lyon then made a spectacular low save in the dying embers of the game to get Hearts over the line as they secured a league double over Linlithgow Rose.
