Hearts fell to a 2-1 defeat at Easter Road on Saturday afternoon in the second Edinburgh derby of the season.
Eva Olid made one change to the side that started against Glasgow City 13 days ago, as Emma Brownlie returned to the starting XI in place of Jenna Penman.
The Jambos had the ball in the net inside 60 seconds when Ciara Grant’s corner was headed home by Carly Girasoli, however the whistle had already blown for a foul in the build-up.
There weren’t many openings in what was a cagey first half as both sides eased themselves into the contest.
Perhaps the clearest chance of the half fell to Brownlie on 21 minutes. A mistake in the Hibs rearguard allowed the Hearts number four in on goal, but she couldn’t follow up her Easter Road strike from last season and curled her effort wide of Katie Fraine’s goal.
Hearts were shading the possession stats, and they did rack up a few first half corners, Girasoli was again on the end of a Grant delivery, nine minutes before the break, however it was a comfortable stop for Fraine.

The home side took the lead on 57 minutes. Rosie Livingstone’s shot was kept out by Charlotte Parker-Smith but on the rebound, Jorian Baucom was first to react to the second ball to fire home the opening goal.
Just two minutes later and the home side doubled their lead. Baucom again causing problem in the box, she rose highest to head home a corner from the right.
Hearts responded with a double change as Addie Handley and Georgia Hunter were introduced. The former was the architect for the games next goal as her cross was headed home at the back post by Katie Lockwood to give Hearts hope 15 minutes from the end.
The Jambos huffed and puffed after that, and they almost found the equaliser in stoppage time, but Fraine produced a magnificent save to deny Girasoli’s powerful header as Hibs held on to take all three points.
