Match Report: Hearts Women 1-2 Hibernian
22 March 2026Rosie Livingstone scored a 90th minute winner as Hearts Women were defeated 2-1 by Hibernian at Oriam on Sunday.
The visitors took the lead through Livingstone before a reply from Georgia Timms for 1-1, but a second from the Hibs attacker gave the away side all three points in what was a disappointing afternoon for the Jambos in the Scottish Power Women’s Premier League.
Eva Olid made five changes from the 4-1 win over Partick Thistle on Wednesday night.
Rachael Johnstone started in goal as Georgia Timms, Sade Adamolekun, Lauren Wade, Joely Andrews and Carly Girasoli all returned to the starting XI.
Hearts started brightly in the windy conditions at Oriam with a pair of early chances.
Sade Adamolekun played it to Georgia Timms who struck one on her right foot just inside the box, but her effort went wide of the right hand post.
Just after, the Jambos were awarded a free-kick from just outside the box. Lauren Wade stepped up, and her strike curled wide of the target.
Hibs had a huge chance to open the scoring before the break. Jordan was sent through on goal, she drove into the box and struck a low effort on her left foot, but couldn’t generate enough power or drive it further into the corner to trouble Johnstone.
Half-time: Hearts 0-0 Hibs
Hibs took the lead early in the second half. The corner was swung in from the right, Hearts failed to get it cleared and Jessica Fitzgerald was the quickest to react as she struck one off the post and in for 1-0.
With 25 to go, the Jambos got themselves back on level terms. Carly Johns floated a ball over the top of the Hibs defence and Timms latched on to it to poke past Schumacher in goal for 1-1.
Livingstone scored for Hibs right at the death. The attacker was sent in behind the Hearts defence, drove into the box and struck one into the top left corner for 2-1.
