Kent: Good Feeling in Gorgie

16 February 2024

Frankie Kent says he’s loving life in Gorgie, as Hearts look to maintain their winning run when Motherwell visit Tynecastle tomorrow.

The defender has been a rock at the heart of Steven Naismith’s defence this season as the men in maroon racked up multiple wins across the first half of the season.

The tests keep coming, and with league business resuming tomorrow, Frankie hopes the Jambos can keep up their successful habits.

“We don’t feel too much pressure. We know things are going well, the aim has got to be to maintain it for as long as possible and take it game by game really,” he told the media ahead of the game.

“Ever since I’ve come up to Scotland, I’ve been aware that every game will be tough and has the likelihood of throwing something unexpected at you. We’re prepared for tomorrow so hopefully we can go out and get a good result.

“It’s been great to be part of the team. Touchwood, I can stay fit and keep playing as many as I have. Everyone in the team has offered and added something over the last couple of months so hopefully that can continue.

“Results are going right for us on the pitch at the moment. There’s a good feeling about the place and things feel like it’s going to plan – as I said, it’s about maintaining that and keeping it going.”
