Kai Smutek has joined Hamilton Accies on loan until the end of the season, subject to SFA approval.
The central defender has featured in 17 league matches for the Wee Jambos this season, scoring on one occasion.
The 19-year-old has featured for the Hearts B Team across the last four seasons in the Lowland League and now steps up to the SPFL with Accies.
Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, B Team head coach Angus Beith said:
“Kai has made very good strides this season in his development. He’s been one of the standout performers for us in the Lowland League and is ready for a new challenge.
“Hamilton have a number of big games coming up from now until the end of the season, which presents a great opportunity for Kai to accelerate his development, which I and the rest of the group, wish him all the best with.”
