Islam Chesnokov has been called up to the Kazakhstan national team ahead of their 2026 FIFA Series double header with Namibia and Comoros.
The tricky winger will look to add to his 22 caps when they first face Namibia on March 21st at the Astana Arena, before Comoros visit the Kazakh capital on 31st March.
FIFA Series is a biennial (every two years) international football tournament initiated by FIFA in 2024, featuring friendly matches between national teams from different international confederations.
Kazakhstan's UEFA Nations League schedule is set to begin in September when they travel to Faroe Islands.
