Hearts partner with loveholidays

The pair gave members of the public the chance to spin their ‘wheel of sunshine’ to win a range of prizes in addition to the overseas getaways, including signed Hearts shirts, holiday-themed merchandise and free ice-cream.

The stunt took place to celebrate Heart of Midlothian’s new sponsorship deal with loveholidays, which will see the online travel agent become the club’s Official Holiday Partner.

Over the coming months, fans can expect to see pitch-side advertising from loveholidays appear at Tynecastle Park, as well as exclusive giveaways on the Jam Tarts’ social media channels.

Al Murray, Chief Marketing Officer at loveholidays, said: “We’re delighted to have signed with Hearts as their Official Holiday Partner and are looking forward to working with the team for the remainder of the season. There was a natural alignment between the club’s inclusivity values and our own values at loveholidays, as we continue on our mission to open the world to everyone.

“To celebrate our partnership, we wanted to spread some positivity and the holiday spirit here in Edinburgh with the help of Craig and Georgia. We can’t wait to send our lucky holiday winners off on their travels soon.”

Catriona McCallum, Heart of Midlothian FC’s Commercial & Marketing Director, said: “We are really pleased to welcome loveholidays on board as Hearts’ Official Holiday Partner and have no doubt that this is a brand our supporters will be keen to engage with. As the UK’s largest fan-owned club, it is really important for us that our fans are at the heart of our partnerships and loveholidays’ values closely align with our own.

“Craig and Georgia kicking things off by sending the lucky winners at Waverley on their travels is a great way to start our relationship and we’re excited to be working closely with Al’s team in the coming months to bring the partnership to life.”

There are more than 25,000 package holiday options available to Scottish holidaymakers through loveholidays, with flights from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow International, Glasgow Prestwick and Inverness.
