Georgia Timms joins Hearts Women

14 June 2022

The 24-year-old striker will join Hearts Women upon expiration of her contract with English side Lewes.

Georgia made a name for herself with Oxford United, finishing top scorer in season 2019/20 with 16 goals - winning supporters’ and players’ player of the year - before making the move to East Sussex-based Lewes.

She would go on to make more than 50 appearances for the FA Women's Championship club, helping them to an eighth-placed finish last season, and capped the campaign off with a memorable goal in Lewes’ 2-1 win over league champions Liverpool on the final day of the season in front of a record crowd of 2,347 fans.

Georgia will now pull on the maroon jersey as Hearts look to build on last season’s inaugural SWPL 1 campaign, which saw them finish eighth.
