Five more Jambos have been called up to represent their countries.
Hot on the heels of Lawrence Shankland and Zander Clark making the Scotland squad, the trio of Nathaniel Atkinson, Kye Rowles and Cammy Devlin have been selected in the Australia squad, while Kenneth Vargas has won a call up to represent Costa Rica and Yutaro Oda will join up with Japan’s U22s.
Natty, Kye and Cammy head to Dallas as the Socceroos face Mexico at the AT&T Stadium on September 10th in a friendly match.
Kenneth will have two opportunities to pick up his first full Costa Rica cap. The Central Americans take on Saudi Arabia in a friendly at Newcastle United’s St James’ Park on September 8th, before travelling to Croatia to play UAE four days later.
Yutaro could be given three chances to shine with a hat-trick of friendlies lined up for Japan U22s. They Pakistan on September 6th, Palestine on December 9th before ending with an encounter with Bahrain three days later.
