Cup Winning Legend Returns for Big Hearts Gala

Fan favourite and former Austrian International, Thomas Flögel, will show his support to our Club’s charity, Big Hearts, as he returns to Tynecastle Park on 25 September to headline the 2026 Big Hearts Gala in the Gorgie suite.

The 1998 Scottish Cup Winner signed by Jim Jefferies, was a classy player who soon understood what playing in Scotland and at Hearts was all about. He went on to do so with distinction across his five years in maroon. In 2002, after 164 appearances and playing just about every position on the pitch when required, Thomas departed Hearts as a Club Legend.

The Big Hearts Gala is a key-date in the Hearts calendar, with previous headliners including Paul Hartley, Mark de Vries, Saulius Mikoliūnas and Antti Niemi. Thomas Flögel’s presence on the evening brings excitement to an already unforgettable night filled with entertainment, delicious food and meaningful moments in support of Big Hearts’ mission: changing lives through football.
