Craig Gordon called up to Scotland squad

The Jambos’ skipper has been called up to Steve Clarke’s pool ahead of their UEFA Nations League triple header.

Craig will be hoping to add to his 70 caps when Scotland host Ukraine on September 21st before facing Republic of Ireland three days later at Hampden.

They round off their League B campaign with a trip to Poland to play Ukraine on September 27th.

Scotland currently sit second in their table, one point behind Ukraine.

Meanwhile, two Jambos have been named in the Scotland U21 squad.

Lewis Neilson and Connor Smith will be part of Scot Gemmill’s side as they play a friendly double-header against Northern Ireland this month. 

The young Scots travel to Belfast on September 22nd before hosting Northern Ireland three days later in Paisley.
