Club wins national award
16 October 2025Heart of Midlothian FC is proud to announce that the Club has received a prestigious national award for innovation in talent identification and recruitment, presented at the Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Summit - a landmark event that celebrates the skills and dedication of a diverse workforce in driving Scotland’s economic and cultural success.
This recognition highlights Hearts' partnership with Jamestown Analytics, the world-leading football data analysis firm. As Scotland’s exclusive user of Jamestown Analytics, the club has integrated its data into its work, aiding player recruitment and opposition analysis.
Whilst the platform forms the cornerstone of this success, this award also recognises the importance of strong operational alignment and buy-in from the Club’s recruitment team. Having the right team, the right level of expertise and strong relationships within the setup are all vital components in unleashing the power of the platform and approach.
A new era has been heralded at the club, both on the pitch with Hearts currently sitting top of the Scottish Premiership, and off the pitch, as the Club is celebrated for leading innovation in sport and beyond. Technology and its use in football combine to provide an irresistible magnet that has attracted thousands of young people to courses run by the Hearts Innovation Centre. The Centre is equipping a diverse community of young people with vital technology skills for the future by delivering free classes and opportunities to develop skills in groundbreaking AI, analytics, robotics and coding.
Receiving this award at such a meaningful summit underscores our commitment to continuous improvement, diversity, and excellence in everything we do. We are honoured to be recognised among Scotland’s most forward-thinking organisations and remain dedicated to building a football club that reflects the values and potential of our community.
