Claudio Braga says the focus in the Hearts squad has already turned to the match against Hamilton, following the Jambos’ 4-1 victory over Dunfermline at the weekend.
The Portuguese forward made his Tynecastle debut in the victory over the Pars, but now attention quickly turns to matchday two of the Premier Sports Cup, which sees the Jambos travel to Broadwood to face Accies.
“We’re looking forward to it of course,” said Claudio.
“The season has started now, and we’ve got to win, so for us it's very important that we keep focused on the next game. The Dunfermline game has gone already, we are looking forward to this game now and to get the win, that's the only thing that we need.
“We were preparing for the Dunfermline game, but now that’s over, from now on we will prepare for the next game and the research will be done.”
The importance of the competition isn’t lost on the new arrival who has already set his sights on a potential cup run.
“It's silverware, that the club wants to put their hands on, so we're going to do everything we can to win every game.”
