Calvin keen to kick on

04 June 2026

Calvin Miller hopes to pick up from where he left off last season once he pulls on the maroon jersey at Tynecastle Park.

One of the SPFL Premiership’s standout performers during the 2025/26 campaign, Calvin has swapped Falkirk for Hearts after signing a three-year-deal at Tynecastle Park to join once the transfer window opens, subject to Scottish FA approval.

The top flight’s assist king with 11 to his name, along with nine goals, Calvin is looking to hit the ground running in Gorgie and beyond, with the lure of European football proving too difficult to turn down.

Speaking to Hearts TV, he said; “I'm buzzing. It's been in a pipeline for a while, so I'm just glad that I'm finally here and getting the deal all signed.

“First of all, Hearts are a massive club and I think you've seen what they've done last season, that straight away everyone wants to be a part of that.

“So, when I heard the interest was there, I was dying to make the move happen and they're playing in Europe this year as well, so I'd love to get myself in amongst that.

“I'm thankful to Falkirk because they essentially got my career back on track.

“The gaffer there, they helped me through thick and thin and every season was a success, so I'm hoping to just continue that success, that kind of form that I had at Falkirk and getting all the goals and assists and stuff and some even silverware and stuff.

I hope to come here and try and achieve all that as well and proper progress.

“I like to score goals and set up goals and I think that's just all I care about is if I can contribute to the team and, like you said, I think I've been doing that the last three seasons so I just want to continue that form and keep progressing and now that this club's in Europe it would be unbelievable if I could go and chip in, doing that in the bigger stage.

“Who doesn't want to play in Europe? You get a chance in the Champions League qualifiers to then go and progress and then if not then it's Europa League and that's a big stage.

“That's where you can go and make a name for yourself and the club can go and make a name for itself as well and I'm just dying to get started.”
