The 29-year-old made the move to Tynecastle Park from Norway’s SK Brann in January 2025, Penning a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Sander made his Hearts debut in the Scottish Cup against St Mirren and would go on to make 12 appearances before the end of season 24/25.
Sander scored his first and second goals for the club in a Scottish Cup quarter-final victory over Dundee as he helped fire Hearts back to Hampden in a 3-1 victory.
