Monica Forsyth
An exciting and dynamic winger, Monica initially joined Hearts on loan in late 2020 from Celtic, making a huge impression in her attacking play. After scoring two goals in 2020/21, including a stunning winner against Forfar Farmington, she was named Young Player of the Year, and signed permanently in the summer of 2021.
After suffering cruciate ligament damage and spending almost a full year on the sidelines, Monica made her return to the starting 11 in a 5-0 win over Hamilton in December 2022.
Monica penned a new contract in the summer of 2024 keeping her in Gorgie until 2025.
Comfortable at right wing back or in the middle of midfield, Forsyth has enjoyed a productive campaign and was on the scoresheet as Hearts defeated Hibernian 4-0 to lift the Capital Cup at Easter Road in September 2024.
