James Wilson

James enjoyed a breakthrough season in season 24/25. Having initially made his professional debut for the club the previous season against Spartans, the forward enjoyed more and more game time and was on a good goalscoring run. 

Wilson would break all sorts of records in a maroon jersey as he became the club's youngest ever European goalscorer when netting against FC Petrocub in December 2024 and also the youngest player to score in the Conference League itself. 

The Academy graduate continued to break records and became Scotland's youngest ever internationalist when coming on as a substitute against Greece in March 2025. 

Wilson didn't take long to endear himself to the Hearts faithful either, providing a late equaliser in front of a jubilant away end at Easter Road in October 2024. 

In April 2025, the club announced that Wilson had penned a new deal until the summer of 2027.
