Hearts defeated Civil Service Strollers 4-0 at Christie Gillies Park on Tuesday evening.
Goals from Andy Halliday, Jamie Walker, Armand Gnanduillet and Makenzie Kirk sealed the victory for the Jambos.
The tie was one of two friendlies played by Hearts on the same day, with a second XI taking on Spartans at nearby Ainslie Park later that night.
As was the case at Linlithgow, the squad featured a mix of first team players and youngsters with Connor Smith, Leon Watson and Aaron Darge handed starting berths by Robbie Neilson.
In a first half of few chances, Halliday found the back of the net on 26 minutes with a well placed shot from just inside the box - having been teed up by Josh Ginnelly.
Walker then doubled Hearts' advantage within two minutes of the restart. Connor Smith, who was enjoying a fine game at right back, cut inside and slipped the ball into the path of Walker who rifled a shot into the far corner.
Hearts continued to dominate possession against a stubborn Strollers side and eventually added their third just before the hour mark. Ginnelly was once again in the thick of the action as he raced down the right and delivered a fine ball to the feet of Gnanduillet who tapped home from close range.
Robbie then introduced a number of youngsters with 20 minutes to go as Makenzie Kirk, Jay Charleston King, Macaulay Tait, Sean Docherty and Chris Hamilton entered the fray.
Hearts continued to push forward and a fine ball over the top of the defence from Hamilton enabled Kirk to run clean through and calmly slot the ball beyond the keeper for the fourth and final goal of the tie.
