Hearts Women fell to a 3–0 home defeat against Rangers in the Scottish Power Women’s Premier League, with a double from Laura Berry and a strike from Bailley Collins securing all three points for the visitors.
Andy Thomson named an unchanged starting eleven following last weekend’s victory over Motherwell at K Park.
The visitors started on the front foot, having early spells of possession and threatening down both channels. Hearts created the first real opening of the afternoon on 16 minutes, but Jessica Husband curled her long-range effort just wide of the top-left corner.
The deadlock was broken on the half-hour mark when Katie Wilkinson slipped a through ball into the path of Laura Berry, who calmly slotted a one-on-one strike.
Rangers doubled their lead six minutes later. Bailley Collins reacted quickest to a long ball over the top from Mijke Roelfsema, lifting a first-time volley over Rachael Johnstone into the net. Kayla Jardine came close to scoring before the end of the first half, only to see her strike rattle off the woodwork.

Jardine threatened again shortly after the restart with an effort from distance, but her strike was gathered by Shu Ohba in the Rangers goal.
Five minutes after the restart, Rangers extended their advantage as Berry claimed her second of the afternoon with a sharp finish. Hearts almost mounted an instant response when Mariana Speckmaier broke into space inside the box, only for Ohba to palm away her shot.
The Jambos continued to create opportunities through Lauren Wade, but despite sustained spells of pressure in the final third, they were unable to find the final touches.
Hearts now turn their attention to next Sunday’s trip to Links Park to face Montrose, with kick-off at 13:00.
