Liam McFarlane has joined Alloa Athletic on loan for season 25.26.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell at East Fife last season, helping Dick Campbell’s side gain promotion through the playoffs, having previously played every league match for Hearts B in the 23/24 Lowland League.
Liam’s good form for the Fifers last season was recognised, and as well as winning their Young Player of the Year Award, he was called-up to the Scotland U21s squad for the first time in his career.
The stopper will continue his rise up the SPFL leagues and will now ply his trade for the upcoming season in League One with the Wasps.
