Jeni joins Jambos

A former Hearts youth player, 26-year-old Currie recently impressed the Hearts coaching staff when at Hamilton Accies, before joining Sion Swifts in Northern Ireland.

Jeni was on the bench for Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Rangers Women at Oriam and will provide some competition for Hearts’ number one, Charlotte Parker-Smith following Lisa Rodgers’ loan move to Boroughmuir Thistle.

Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, Jeni said:

“I'm delighted. I've been training with the team for a while now, so it is good to finally get the contract signed. 

"I have been a Hearts fan all my life and I grew up playing for the youth teams at the club, so this is kind of a full circle moment for me, but if I was coming back to Scotland, then it was always going to be Hearts. 

"The club has come on leaps and bounds since the last time I was here ten years ago. Eva has done a brilliant job and I am very happy to be here."
