Future Coaches

19 August 2022

The Heart of Midlothian - Play the Game, Future Coaches programme will provide participants with key information, practical content and methods to help create energetic, exciting and engaging sessions.

Practical sessions will take place at Newbattle Community Campus in Midlothian during September to November with additional content being delivered online.

Over the duration of the course participants will experience a range of practical and theoretical activities and sessions that will enhance their understanding of sporting environments that can help children and young people thrive.

Hearts Head of Community, Chalky White, added, “We are delighted to have developed this brand new programme aimed at supporting and inspiring new coaches. Our partnership with Active Midlothian and East Lothian Football Development will mean that keen high school students and other young coaches, will be able to benefit from an experience which will help compliment their coaching journey and create dynamic sporting environments.”
